We would like to congratulate you on your engagement!
Here are a few helpful tips on how to order the appropriate amount of cake for your reception:
Traditionally the bride and groom keep the top tier of their wedding cake, freeze it and eat it on their first anniversary. You do not have to do this if you don't want to. Typically the top tier is a 4" or 6" cake. Our 6" cake will serve 12. If you do plan on keeping your top tier, please remember to not count this into your overall cake servings. If you plan on keeping the top tied, please let us know and we will provide a box to place it in with instructions on how to wrap it at no additional charge.
Do you plan on keeping your top tier? ___________
Statistics say that typically 80-90% of the people you invite will attend your wedding. Of those guests in attendance, 75-80% will have cake.
Number of guests:________ x 0.9 = ________ x 0.8 = _________ (total number of servings needed)
The fun of wedding cakes is that you don't have to limit yourself to a one flavored traditional cake. You can assort the cakes by tiers or layers.
Example of each on a three tired cake: 1.) Assorted tiers - top tier white cake, center tier yellow cake, and bottom tier German chocolate cake. 2.) Assorted layers - all tiers having two layers of chocolate and two layers of banana. There is no additional fee to customize your cake this way.
Fillings can be a regular butter cream frosting (no additional charge) or they can be livened up with more gourmet selections. Please see the cake pricing sheet for selections.
For non-disposable cake plates, inserts and accessories, a $60 charge will apply ($25 for wear & tear and $35 as a refundable deposit). Please have all equipment returned in its clean and working original state by the Wednesday following your event as other brides may need them for the next weekend.
